Moorfields Community Eye Clinic at The Nelson Health Centre

Due to the increasing numbers of patients being admitted to hospitals across London, the NHS and Moorfields are facing significant challenges. To help protect our patients and our services, we are moving patient appointments to telephone and video consultations. 

We will continue to see those patients considered to be most at risk in person in clinic. If you’ve already been asked to come in, please attend your appointment as scheduled. Please do not come to Moorfields unless we have asked you to do so. We will contact patients as soon as possible to organise a telephone or video consultation.

Travel information

By train

From Wimbledon Chase train station (overground) on foot head northeast on Kingston Rd/A238 for 0.2 mile – about a 5 minute walk.

By tramlink

From Merton Park Tramlink Stop, the tram stops on Kingston Road, turn left when you leave the tram stop and the centre is  0.5 mile- about a 10 minute walk.

By buses

Buses 152, 163, 164, K5 stop outside The Nelson Health Centre.
