Under the Moorfields Patient Experience Framework 2024–2028, we strive to ensure that staff and patients shape the care we provide and ensure that we are making a positive difference. To achieve this, we want to:
Give every patient and carer the opportunity to provide regular feedback and share their stories, experiences, and preferences with us.
Ensure every staff member, patient and carer has the chance to contribute to improving services, and that everyone has a voice.
The City Road patient experience forum is a series of online engagement sessions, held every three months, where patients, carers, staff and volunteers come together online to discuss topics relating to services at Moorfields City Road. Its purpose is to focus on community and patient engagement specifically for City Road services.
We are keen to grow patient representation to ensure that the patient voice is at the heart of everything we discuss. We welcome your ideas about what we talk about during the forum, and we want to know what is important to you.
Examples of topics may include:
Service Improvements further to patient and carer feedback
Service updates
Updates on the move to our new centre in St Pancras
Patient experience themes
Community engagement
An opportunity for you to provide feedback on your care
That you are able to access and join a virtual meeting via MS Teams.
That you are willing to contribute to discussions online.
Tell us what works well and provide examples of excellent practice.
Help Moorfields make decisions about the services we provide and shape future care.
Stakeholder representatives may provide insight on the needs of groups or individuals.
