Do I need to call to confirm my appointment?

No. Your appointment letter is your confirmation. If you have received a letter from us, we are already expecting you on the date, time and at the location shown — there is no need to call.

Do I need to call to reschedule my appointment?

No. You can view and manage your appointment details through DrDoctor or the NHS App. If you are an existing patient, you can also contact the service where you are being treated directly — you will find their contact details on your appointment letter.

Do I need to call to cancel my appointment?

You can cancel your appointment through the NHS App.

Before you do, please consider carefully whether you still need this care. If you cancel your next appointment, you may be discharged from our service and need to be re-referred by your GP or optician. If you would like to continue receiving care at Moorfields but are unable to attend, please reschedule rather than cancel.
