  • Mark has published over 55 scientific papers and is a regular presenter at international meetings. His research interests cover infectious and non-infectious uveitis and visual loss in glaucoma.
  • Regular reviewer for the British Journal of Ophthalmology, Graefe’s Archive for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology, Journal of Ocular Infection and Immunity, and Ocular Immunology and Inflammation.
  • Expert reviewer of major grant submissions for the French Ministry of Health – Groupements Interrégionaux pour la Recherche Clinique et l’Innovation (GIRCI).

  • Surgical Trainer for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists where he trains surgeons in microsurgery and phacoemulsification cataract surgery.
