Moorfields Community Eye Clinic at Loxford is one of our community-based outpatient clinics, bringing expert eye care closer to patients' homes.

Located in Loxford Polyclinic, our community eye clinic focuses predominantly on outpatient and diagnostic services for a range of eye conditions.

Travel information

The Loxford Polyclinic is situated at the junction of Ilford and Loxford Lane.

By train

Ilford Rail Station. Bus route 169, 366, EL1 and EL2 serve this station and travel to and from the Polyclinic. Barking Rail and Tube Station. Bus routes 169, 366, EL1 and EL2 travel to and from the Polyclinic.

By bus

Bus stops are located very close to the Polyclinic. Ilford Lane serves routes, 169, 366, EL1 and EL2. Southbound – outside the Polyclinic just south of the pedestrian crossing. Northbound – just south of Norman Road.

By car

There are currently only five patient parking spaces (at the back of the clinic) and three disabled parking space (at the front of the clinic).

Any patients parking within these spaces need to read the parking notices and then enter their vehicle registration in the machine located on the ground floor of the polyclinic before attending Moorfields clinic.

There are parking cameras which monitor all vehicle registrations.  If the above procedure is not adhered to patients will receive a letter stating the fines incurred.
