Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai (MEHD) opened its doors in 2007 in Dubai Healthcare City as the first overseas branch of Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, the oldest and one of the largest centres for ophthalmic treatment, teaching, and research in the world.
Accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI), the hospital provides comperehensive eyecare services for children and adults through sub-specialised teams of consultant ophthalmologists, orthoptists, and optometrists.
