Accident and emergency department

Moorfields has a specialist ophthalmic accident and emergency department at its City Road site in central London, which is open 24 hours a day for emergency eye problems. See our locations section for directions.

Contact the booking centre

The booking centre liaises with patients who are newly-referred to Moorfields by their GP, and who are enquiring about their first appointment with the Trust.

The booking centre is open Monday to Friday from 9am-4pm.

To change or cancel your appointment

If you have visited Moorfields before and have an enquiry about a follow-up appointment, you should contact the particular clinic (eg glaucoma, cataract, etc) where your appointment is scheduled to take place.
