The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act enables people to gain access to information held by public authorities in two ways:
- publication schemes - every public authority must make some information available as a matter of routine through a publication scheme
- general right of access - any person has the right to make a request for information held by a public authority.
What is the publication scheme?

Right of access to information
The Trust has a duty to:
- confirm or deny we hold the requested information, and
- provide the information within 20 days unless it is subject to an exemption.
