The Moorfields Eye Hospital/UCL Institute of Ophthalmology National Institute for Health Research Biomedical Research Centre, in collaboration with our clinical research facility, will concentrate on six specific research areas:

  • Age-related macular degeneration
  • Diabetes
  • Glaucoma
  • Ocular surface disease
  • Paediatric ophthalmology and inherited eye disease
  • Ocular repair, regeneration and pharmaceutics
