Transforming health research: the first two years, is the title of the first review of their work, published by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

The report describes the progress the NIHR has made in developing the infrastructure, programmes and the systems to facilitate health research in England.

Among the projects reviewed is the Moorfields Eye Hospital/UCL Institute of Ophthalmology National Institute for Health Research Biomedical Research Centre.
