Queries about eye conditions

We receive a large number of enquiries from individuals asking for advice on their eye condition. Unfortunately we are not able to deal with these via email. Eye conditions can be incredibly complex and without your eyes being examined by an expert, it is difficult to provide relevant information.

If you have a question regarding an eye condition or you are worried about your eyes we recommend that you:

• contact either your GP or ophthalmologist
• visit our accident and emergency department,
• or telephone our nurse-led helpline Moorfields Direct, on 020 7566 2345 (9am-4.30pm, Mon-Fri) for more information.

Please note that we have a problem with our voicemail service at the moment, which means that you cannot leave messages when you use direct dial numbers.  If you are having difficulties getting through on any of the numbers listed below, please contact the main switchboard on 020 7253 3411, and enter the extension number (the last four digits) or press 0 to speak to an operator.

Changing or cancelling your appointment time

If you want to cancel or change your appointment time, please contact us using the changing your appointment form or call the booking centre on 020 7566 2357.

Overseas and private patients
