Moorfields has a 24-hour, 365 days per year ophthalmic accident and emergency facility that is used by adults and children.

Paediatric attendees are seen in The Richard Desmond Children’s Eye Centre on Peerless Street between 9am and 4pm, and adults are treated in the traditional accident and emergency department in the main building.

From 4pm, all accident and emergencies are seen in the main building on City Road. All children will be seen in the main building on City Road at weekends and public holidays.
