The board of Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust agreed during December 2009 to declare full compliance with all 24 of the core standards set by the Care Quality Commission, the national regulatory body that replaced the Healthcare Commission in April 2009.
Our external auditors KPMG have reviewed the process and a number of the standards and provided an opinion of substantial assurance for 200/10. Our governance committee has also fully reviewed the evidence and discussed in detail the compliance levels all the standards.
