Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Rudy Markham as chairman of its Board of Directors and Membership Council.
Mr Markham joined the Board of Moorfields as a non-executive director in 2006 and will take over as chairman from Sir Thomas Boyd-Carpenter, who retires from the position on 31 March 2008.
Previously the chief financial officer and an executive member of the Board at Unilever, Mr Markham brings to the role a tremendous amount of top level management experience and a wealth of financial, corporate and commercial acumen.
Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a world renowned centre of excellence for treatment, research and training, and attracts both patients and staff from around the world.
